Yes, I shared that sentiment when I first entered this ancient new world which has been mind-blowingly transformative to my health and well-being since I began learning and practicing the Ancient Arts of Tai Chi and Qigong in the middle of 2014. At the time I was recovering from a debilitating back injury and chronic digestive issues. The back pain and inflammation were keeping me from being able to play hockey regularly and was at times so severe it was causing me to miss work shifts. After a few months of practicing some simple exercises I found on youtube and then dropping in once a week at a class with an exceptional instructor (Sifu Josie), I was “back” playing hockey 2-3 times a week and working virtually pain free. I felt like I had my life back, my stress levels reached an all time low, and I felt stronger and more at peace than I could ever remember.
